These beautiful migratory geese stop here briefly in the spring on their way to breed in the Tundra far up north and I witnessed a rather strange event last spring, I spotted one standing in the bulrushes awhile after the rest had all flown north, I zoomed in my camera at her and discovered she had two little yellow goslings beside her; I had the opportunity to watch her raise her little ones along with some Canada Geese, the goslings of both types of geese looked the same so I had to wait until they matured up with the mother's facial features, They were very special and I watched for them every time I went to the pond.
